I was born in Germany in 1970 and lived there until the age of three when (as army families often do) we moved to Tacoma, Washington. I lived there until I was five. My Dad retired from the army and we move to Orem, Utah. I lived in Orem for about 25 years and then built a home in Riverton.
I am the 2nd oldest of ten kids (3 brothers and 6 sisters). I graduated from Mountain View High School in 1989. I left 2 weeks later for a life changing experience in Alaska. I spent three years there working on a fishing boat. Between trips to Alaska I dated my soon to be wife (Kirsten) and we were married in 1992. 1993 brought our only son to the world his name is Jakob. I worked at a gas station for about a year then I got a job at Longview Fibre Company, making paper bags. I worked there for about 1.5 years during which time our first daughter Caice was born. She was pre-mature which was again, a life changing experience. I soon left Longview for a new career in the Heating and Air Conditioning field where I worked in several positions. In 2000 our third and final child Saydee was born.
It wasn't until 2005 that my friend Jon talked me into stepping out of my comfort zone.
I left the comfort of a paycheck every 2 weeks to become a mortgage professional. I currently work for Castle Rock Financial Services as a loan officer.
I enjoy many things in life including, camping, four wheeling and many other outdoor activities. I am the Scoutmaster for a Troop 1296 in Riverton, Utah where I am in charge of 9 Boy Scouts. I am also an avid NASCAR fan and attend at least one race per year.
